Bulalo sa Tagaytay

Blu only. Iwan si Lora.

overcast

We went to the space for rent near Osmena Hi-way last Thursday and it was still up for grabs! Finally, we would have something concrete to invest in.

Full of good hopes, we opted to go to MOA then Tagaytay for the rest of the day. We had fun, kahit na kaming 2 lang. Ang sarap ng bulalo. There's this fairly new place in Tagaytay called Tagaytay Special Bulalo and Tapsilog. Its located a short distance after the Mushroom Burger store.

Naghahanap kase kame ng mura na kainan ng bulalo. An order for two people kase usually costs Php380.00 or more at other establishments. Over the budget naman yun for us lang. Actually, we were looking for the bulalo house Daddy was telling me about, where all the members of PhilCycling go to eat. We couldnt find it (I didnt ask my Dad where it was.) so we opted to find one on our own.

The bulalo here only costs Php280.00 for a medium order and Php330 for a large one. We had a medium bulalo, laing, 4 servings of rice (of course) and a 1.5L sprite. All added up, it only cost Php409.00. Way within budget and way better than eating at some fancy place back in Manila, where a meal would cost roughly Php500 per head. Add up our gas allowance to the food... thats a total of Php750 for the entire trip. Perfect for budget travellers like loraandblu.

Oh yes, si Raider Blu lang dala namin nun, si Lora nagpaphinga sa garahe namin. Nauuhaw at walang gas. Si Blu, medyo mayabang kase may pang gas sya. So, carry nya kame ni Kiko.

Ang sarap ng feeling. Fresh air, hot food, hot guy (ehhehe). Yipee! Super nabusog kame dun.

Also, may nakita kaming magandang Inn. The County Sampler Inn. This is just beside the Bulalo House we ate at.

Checking it out, we found that the ambiance was indeed very cozy and comfy. A room for two costs $1,400 for check in at 1pm and check out noon the following day. This has a separate living room/kitchenette and bedroom. The rooms were simple and tastefully decorated. There were also rooms available for 4-6 guests. Accomodating pa yung inn-keeper. We vowed to stay there next time. Wala na kase kaming budget.

Going home was another fun ride on Blu. Pagpasok nga lang ng Manila... back to pollution, congested roads and loud horns. Back to reality. Hay, we should do this more often.
